“Less is more” is the maxim of FilmOneFest, the international film festival which has been challenging filmmakers for over a decade to tell their stories in under two minutes.
Each year, FilmOneFest’s corps of dedicated volunteers select the most innovative, diverse and entertaining short-format films from around the world and project them onto a screen under the stars. This year’s outdoor screening of 80 films from over 60 countries is scheduled for July 20, 2019 at the Atlantic Highlands Marina, with majestic views of New York City as a backdrop.
As a sponsored program of the Atlantic Highlands Arts Council, FilmOneFest provides a free community celebration complete with music, food trucks and other activities.
Enjoy live music starting at 6:00 PM with local bands playing until the films begin at 9:00 PM.
FilmOneFest is supported by Sony Pictures Classics, and is funded in part by the Monmouth County Arts Council through grants from the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, The County Historical Commission, and the NJ State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment of the Arts. FilmOneFest/Atlantic Highlands Arts Council supports the Atlantic Highlands Food Pantry through food drives and donations.
